ur dog during training nights. Wednesday nights are training nights so come down introduce your self we would love to meet you and your dog. After training sessions you can sit down have a coffee, tea, milo and ask your instructor questions you may have. Wangaratta Kennel & Obedience Dog Club Inc & Wodonga Kennel Club SPRINT DOG TRIALS were held on 13/14 & 16/17 June at our club grounds. It was an awesome 4 days + 15th was a sprint fun day before the Wodonga Trials. Janelle Willoughby, her team, the lure drivers for all the 4 days & their marshals Thank you very much & hope to see you all next year.

our club volunteers & trialers for helping set up, pull down and many released others dogs as well as strangers releasing members dogs at the start so the dogs owners could catch the dog as it flew & in some cases dogs were a blur as they chased the lure to get to the other end was amazing. I think it was said we achieved 66 Titles over 4 days, awesome job everyone. Here are a few photos I took but I’m sure others took photos as well.

WANGARATTA KENNEL & OBEDIENCE DOG CLUB INC
“Monthly Happy Dogs Walk “

The Wangaratta Kennel & Obedience Dog Club conduct a Monthly “Happy Dogs Walk” to promote and encourage our Dogs to be involved with Social and Group Interaction with their Furry Friends in public places.

The volunteer-run Club invites all Dog Owners to join with other Dog owners and their Dogs for a leisurely 3-4kms walk through parklands, beside Creeks / River, along gentle pathways and footpaths for no more than 1 hour duration.

The next “Happy Dogs Walk“ will be:
SUNDAY 21st June
Commencing at 9.30am
Meeting at Kennel Club (Showgrounds)
Coffee to follow as available

Please join us with your Dog/s to enjoy this “We All Love our Dogs”

Good morning WKODC members,
This morning we are running (pun intended) a fun 'Sprint Dog' event for our members only, starting at 10am.
What is Sprint Dog? It's a 100m solo timed running event for dogs of all breeds (but they must be over 12 months of age).

Thank you to the fantastic team that made our sprint dog trial go so well thanks to everyone that worked outside and ran the course a great team effort also to all the office team.
To our canteen team you are all fantastic working as a great team it was a pleasure to work with you all it makes it so easy with a great team Couldn’t have done it without you all .
I know it is a lot of work running each event but our reputation as a club and our canteen speaks volumes the comments about what we all do as a club bringing so many visitors into our great Rural city and the hard work you all do promoting and supporting what we do thank you all for all you do.

Hi Dog Owners! The Wangaratta Kennel & Obedience Dog Club is taking bookings for July 2026 Beginners Classes. This is a group class, so your dog will get to socialise with other dogs .
An Open Lecture night will be held on Monday 29th June @ 5.30pm at the WKODC Clubrooms located beside the river on the Wangaratta Showgrounds. Please DO NOT bring your dog to the Open Lecture night. But do bring your dog's current vaccination certificate and microchip number. To book please send a message to 0418221260
The Wangaratta Kennel & Obedience Dog Club is a volunteer-run community organisation with experienced trainers who will introduce you and your dog to a variety of skills which will allow you to build a positive relationship with your dog, increase your dog's sociability and work to prevent problem behaviours before they arise.

Hey members we do have our sprint dog trials on the weekend also Wodonga have there’s on our grounds Tuesday & Wednesday so we need some slices and cakes to sell in our canteen so if you can bake or donate some to our canteen to sell would appreciate your help.
You can drop them to the club anytime Friday whilst we set up or anytime over the weekend.

Wangaratta entries will open tonight 30th of May at 7pm for dates 13/14th June 🎉🎉via showmanager

This is the first two days of our country spring cluster with the Wodonga clubs opening on the 1st at 7pm for dates 16/17th of June
Free camping, great food and lots of sprint runs on offer hope to see you all there!!
