A big thank you our community for supporting the Wandering CWA Christmas Tree on Friday evening. And to the Wandering Lions for cooking the hamburgers, sausages and onions for us.
Thank you Shaun Brand from the Wandering Fire Brigade for delivering Santa safely to the Community Centre on the fire truck.
Neta and Lynn did amazing in the kitchen getting burgers together.
Appreciated the Wandering Shire for the use of the Centre after the Primary School's amazing concert and presentations.
Secret plans were conceived to have the CWA Stare President, Felicity Edwards to present Jacquie Cornish with Wandering branch Legend award. Sarah escorted Felicity to the hall. 67 years of community service. Could be the first time many of us have seen Jacquie at a loss for words.

Lisa and Val did well selling raffle tickets. Our winners were:
1st - Marina Markey Corkery
2nd - Grete Rasmussen
3rd - Elle Hodgson
4th - Lucy Jones

Starr helped Santa give out the gifts he had for the children.

Our last meeting for 2025 will be this Wednesday 17th December at 11am followed with a Christmas lunch at the CWA rooms.

Merry Christmas everyone and best wishes for 2026
