Wandering Autumn Graze

Wandering Autumn Graze WWWaW was formed by a group of local volunteers in 2005 to showcase the locally grown wines and promote the local areas.

This has evolved over the years and is now known as the 'Wandering Autumn Graze' hosted as a long table lunch using local produce. The annual Wandering Autumn Graze, Long Table Lunch event is catered by professional chefs using produce gathered from the Wheatbelt region and surrounds. Our wait staff and kitchen helpers are volunteers many of whom are local young adults that gain valuable experience on the night. Local community groups set up the venue and clean up after the event.

Wandering Autumn Graze AGM will be held at 7pm on Thursday 7th of May 2026 at 22 Watts Street Wandering 6308. We're being asked regularly about the next event, so come along to the meeting and show your support!

The AGM for the Wandering Autumn Graze is being held on the 27th of May 2024 at 7pm in the Wandering Shire Council Chambers. Please come along and support this great event. We'd love to have some new committee members on board. All are welcome.

Please note that the event for 2024 will not happen in March, we are taking a break and working on a new concept that will be even more fun. Will update as soon as all our plans are worked out.

Wandering Autumn Graze AGM will be held on Monday 21st of August at 7pm in the Shire meeting room, 22 Watts Street Wandering.
Office bearers will be elected for the coming year and new committee members are welcome.
Come along and help to grow this wonderful event as we continue to promote our region and West Australian produce and have some fun at the same time.

Our Story

In March 2019 the Wandering Wheatbelt Wine aWards presented their inaugural Long Table Lunch, The Wandering Autumn Graze. Celebrity chefs Anna Gare and award winning Chef, Guy Jeffreys from Millbrook Winery served an amazing lunch on the oval in Wandering to 150 guests. It featured mouth watering delicacies produced from local and regional produce served with beautiful wines and beers. Guests enjoyed sparkling wine and canapes on the grass before gathering on the verandah overlooking the picturesque community of Wandering to enjoy a beautiful feast. Live music was provided by local band, Tom & Russell The Wandering Autumn Graze is proud to announce that we will be having our second lunch on March 28th 2020, with Herb Faust of Iron Chef fame our chef for the day. It promises to be another wonderful way to enjoy the autumn sunshine and all our beautiful region has to offer.
