The Wallaroo Kite Festival is back! 🌈 Head to the Copper Coast for a colourful afternoon of spectacular kite displays and seaside fun.

Watch amazing kites fill the sky, the kids can decorate their own kite (a free booking guarantees a kite), grab some tasty treats and enjoy a fun day on the beach. 🪁🎨🍦

Wallaroo Cub Scouts ended term 3 with a ‘Bring a plate’ shared dinner. Sometimes we get so busy running program activities that’s it’s nice to simply gather together with food & let the conversations flow 😊. The night also celebrated a youths birthday & acknowledgement of 110 years of Cub Scouts 🎉.

When Wallaroo Joey Scouts wanted to build a catapult, they reached out to Moonta Venturer unit for assistance. With the assistance of a Scout, Venturer & Leaders the catapult was built & the best part was that it was put to the test by the Joey scouts & declared a success 😃. A fun night for all & so great to see youth of all ages working together 😊. Thank you to our Scouting buddies from Moonta Scout Group.

Wallaroo Scout Group will be running a BBQ stand on Sunday 16th Aug at Copper Coast Show. Come along, enjoy the show & grab some hot, fresh cooked bacon & egg sandwiches, steak & onion or a snag in bread. Support the Show, Support the Scouts. We can’t wait! 😃

Wallaroo Cub Scouts were treated to a night of fun activities & skits organised by Venturer Scouts from 1st Moonta Scout Groups. Supported by their Leaders they came to Wallaroo Scout Hall, Tuesday night & ran the entire program. A 1st for all involved. Well done 👏. The Cub Scouts gave it 👍 and invited them to come again 😊. Our District Commissioner was also out & about this week calling in to various Groups in our District to present Volunteers awards.
