The last day has us taking lots of back roads off the Barrier Highway back in to Broken Hill. Just on 400kms with most of it dirt road, we’ve managed to find our way back to our own vehicles

Day 4 sees us heading for Burra. After an eventful day 3 where Cameron kicked me out in exchange for Allycia and I had the pleasure of driving their much nicer and more refined kingswood I have been kicked back to our Ute for putting a hole in their sump.
Thankfully Allycia was happy to drive again so I'm chief navigator. We still don't know how Cameron managed it but somehow he found a passenger seat on his driving day so looks like today is definitely a day where Man is not a Camel. 🐪

Today sees Jed having an easy run in to Rawnsley Park Station with mostly bitumen. An early morning breakdown, with a team in our group needing to replace a fuel pump, put us back a couple of hours along with another filter issue for ourselves. However, we’re on the road and should get to camp at a reasonable time

We’ve also swapped drivers of our kingswoods!

After an eventful day 1 where we suffered from fuel blockages and jammed gearbox selectors we are still alive and kicking and on our way to Roxby Downs

Day one sees us heading to Arkaroola, North East of the Flinders Ranges. 497 km total with a breakup of 270km being unsealed! Let’s see how the ‘trusty’ kingswood holds up

We are finally on the road to Broken Hill!!
After a few massive weeks the mighty kingswood is up and running and ready to take on the Mystery Box Rally raising much needed funds for the cancer council.

Just under 4 weeks to go and we still have a little bit of work to do on the old girl but we are getting there slowly... like a motor, seats, gearbox, diff and brakes......
