♻️ Thank You for Supporting St John Wagin! ❤️

A big thank you to everyone who donates their eligible containers to us. The proceeds from Containers for Change help support the ongoing operation of our St John Wagin Sub Centre.

You can also take your containers directly to the Wagin Containers for Change depot and ask for the proceeds to be credited to the St John Wagin account.

Every container counts, and every 10¢ makes a difference.

Thank you for supporting your local St John! 💚

Training for our volunteers this week focused on "Emergency Childbirth" which saw our volunteers get hands on experience using our mannequins should the need arise to deliver a baby in an emergency.

Real-World Training. Real-World Readiness.

When emergencies happen, every second counts. That's why our volunteers regularly participate in realistic, hands-on training designed to prepare them for the unexpected.

From emergency childbirth to other life-threatening situations, our members use full-sized medical mannequins and real-world simulations to develop the skills, confidence and teamwork needed to respond effectively under pressure.

These training scenarios mirror the challenges our volunteers may face in the community, ensuring they're ready to provide the highest standard of care when it matters most.

Because when the call comes, being prepared can make all the difference.

Wagin SJA vollies were privileged yesterday to help a little patient and see the wonderful teams from the RFDS Helicopter and the team from NETS (Newborn Emergency Transport Team) from perth's Royal Childrens Hospital care for ad transport this little baby.

They have a special bassinet and equipment which was amazing to see. The RFDS helicopter loads out of the back of the aircraft and is so cool.

Come and join the Wagin St John Ambulance crew to help us continue this very worthwhile and fulfilling service.
