More photos coming but here is one of our activity area where the forge sits, post clearing it out during today's working bee 🧹🛠

Huge thank you to our 30ish volunteers today. We made significant progress in cleaning up and making the woodwork workshop and activity area operational. We appreciate each and every one of you more than we can express.

Keep your eyes peeled for our new entrance sign that Terry and Brian cut today too. It looks schmick if we do say so ourselves 🔥

A little background noise but if you can bare with it, here is a sample of Colin's speech from tonight, when Defence Shed Wagga Wagga and Pro Patria Centre attended dinner at the Farrer to support and be supported by Wagga Unied Football Club ⚽️

An incredible $21,000 was raised tonight. A fabulous effort and we thank all who dug deep for the support this will bring our organisations as continue to serve our Defence, Veteran, Emergency and First Responder families and community. The support is truly what keeps our lights on as we deliver services.

Special thank you to Pete and Terry who worked tirelessly to create the firepit that was raffled off tonight. You can see it in the background here 🔥

We spontaneously decided to offer up a second in a live auction which went for $600. Thank you to its lucky new owners for your support. We wish you many warm fire evenings ahead ✨️
