We’ve just received a delivery of two delicious products from Arthur in Adelong — organically grown shallots and persimmons — and both will be at the Growers Hub tomorrow from 12–6pm

We love being able to bring you produce grown just down the road, and Arthur’s are always something special.
**Recipe Inspo for the Shallots**
Try roasting them whole — toss in olive oil and balsamic vinegar with a little brown sugar, a few sprigs of thyme and some unpeeled garlic, then roast at 180°C for about an hour, turning every 20 minutes. They go sticky, sweet and deeply golden. Perfect alongside roast lamb or beef.
**For the persimmons** Brown some chicken thighs then slow-cook them in the oven with peeled and quartered persimmons, onion, garlic, a cinnamon stick, a pinch of ginger and allspice, chicken stock and a drizzle of honey. 160°C for about 2.5 hours. The persimmons melt into the sauce and the whole thing becomes rich, warming and just a little bit special. Serve over rice or with crusty bread! 🤤
