What a wonderful day we had at the Tumbarumba Pioneer Womens Hut. So many period cottages to see, all full of different items from times gone by. The tireless volunteers made us so welcome. Well worth a visit.

Did you know that 2026 is the bicentenary of the invention of photography?

This is one of many artistic and scientific achievements associated with the French! Over the years, names such as Niépce, Cartier-Bresson, the Lumière Brothers and Brassaï have become synonymous with the techniques behind the development of photography.
