The 2026 Harvest Riverina Festival spans two days and celebrates local food and sustainability.

➡️ Day 1 - An immersive conference featuring Grow It Locals Paul West, Gardening Australias Clarence Slockee, and Fat Pig Farms Matthew Evans as keynote speakers.

➡️ Day 2 - Free festival at Wagga Wagga Beach Precinct. Check out the chef's tent where our celebrity chefs will demonstrate dishes using locally sourced produce. Plenty of local entertainment, activities facilitated by local experts and the Riverina's finest products and produce among many stalls.

We’re thrilled to announce Paul West as a keynote speaker at the Harvest Riverina Conference on 20 March 2026!

Paul is a passionate advocate for growing food in backyards, cooking simple, nutritious meals, and fostering deeper connections to community and Country. As co-founder of Grow It Local and Head of Content and Horticulture, he’s helping thousands of people get growing at home. He’s also a familiar face and voice on ABC iview's Back Roads, travelling across regional Australia to share the stories of people and place, and the former host of the cult classic River Cottage Australia.

Paul has written three hugely popular books on growing and cooking food – The River Cottage Australia Cookbook, The Edible Garden and Homegrown – and he’ll be bringing that same down‑to‑earth inspiration to the Harvest Riverina Conference.
