Nick was helping us out today with some IT infrastructure work, when this low life decided he needed his tools more than Nick did. They were left outside for less than 5mins unattended when this happened.
It is a real kick in the guts when good people running local small one person businesses like Nicks, help clubs like ours out of the goodness of their hearts, only to have things like this happen.

An unplanned last minute trip to our repeater site at Mt Bethungra today saw the installation and commissioning of our new 6M repeater VK2RBE.

It is on 53.825MHz -1MHz split with no tone.

30W into the antenna that’s mounted on the hut for now. Plans are to get it up the mast at sometime in the future.

The clubs EchoIRLP node is currently off air due to a hardware failure. We do not have a timeframe for resolution, but will work to restore services as soon as we can.
