Last week Wagga CDAT hosted a 'Savvy Scripts' Seniors Morning Tea focused on prescription medication safety.
A big thank you to our local pharmacist, Michael O’Reilly, for delivering such an informative and engaging discussion on health and medication safety.
Thank you also to everyone who attended and contributed to the great conversation, and to Anna from Daisy D'Lish for catering a beautiful morning tea.
It was a lovely morning of learning and community connection.

Designed for professionals supporting people using alcohol and other drugs, this training covers what you need to know about mental health presentations in your clients. The workshop will cover a range of co-occurring mental-health conditions; screening and assessment; motivational enhancement, cognitive, and behavioural approaches.

Huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the Mental Health & Wellness Expo, proudly delivered in partnership with Wagga CDAT and Omnia Inclusive Employment Solutions.

We were blown away by the turnout — over 60 local support services came together under one roof to connect, network, and share the incredible support available in our community.

It was such a great day filled with conversations, connection, fun activities, and plenty of resources for anyone needing a little extra support.

A big shoutout to all the organisations, volunteers, and community members who made the day so special. Your presence and energy truly made a difference 🙌

🌿 What an amazing day! 🌿

The 2025 Mental Health and Wellness Expo, co-partnered by Wagga CDAT and Omnia Inclusive Employment Solutions, was a huge success! 💚

The day kicked off with a lovely morning tea where over 60 local mental health, alcohol & other drug, and wellness services came together to connect and network before opening the doors to the community for a day full of fun, connection, and engagement.

We were even joined by our local MP, Dr Jo McGirr, who stopped by to show his support! 👏

Events like this are so important — they give local services the chance to work more closely together to better support our community, and help community members know exactly where they can turn when they need a helping hand. 💬💙

A massive thank you to all the incredible services who attended — we couldn’t have done it without you! 💪
