Meet Ash 👋🏽 from 🍉

She’s got a big watermelon smile as it’s just 6 days to go until the Cooperative Supermarket Launch Party! 🚀🎉🚀🎉🚀🎉🚀

Not many people understand this but the Growers Hub Coop is a not for profit organisation run by a voluntary board, made up of farmers, growers, fermenters, wine makers, beekeepers and cooks from across the Riverina. The idea is that 20 or so small scale kitchens and farms share infrastructure - together we chip in to pay rent, employees, internet, insurance and all the overheads to make it affordable for small scale businesses to access a central Wagga space - with the aim to make ‘buying local’ convenient for busy households.

So big thank you to each of you who have come in to shop, sit or sip so far (we 👀 you and ❤️ you) and we look forward to hosting you at our Special Launch Event next Thursday 19 March 4-8pm where there’ll be free tastings, live music, $1000’s of prizes to win as we launch Wagga’s first centrally located farmer owned food coop, opening 6 days a week in just 6 days!!!!
