Thamarrurr Development Corporation (TDC) is proud and excited to see our Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Tracey Leo, nominated as a finalist for the NT News Professional Woman’s Award. Tracey has worked tirelessly to support economic development initiatives across the Thamarrurr region, including the Sea Farmers crabbing enterprise, Black Lip oyster farming, and other initiatives focused on building local jobs and long-term economic independence.

Tracey is also a strong and passionate advocate for women’s rights, working alongside women across the region as they continue to push for improved health, safety, education and employment outcomes. Her commitment reflects a deep belief in fairness, equity and creating meaningful opportunities for future generations — values that are shared by the whole TDC Team.

When cars, buildings and community property are damaged, everyone misses out.

Money that could go to good things — like activities, equipment, training, events, and services — instead has to be spent on repairs and security.

This means fewer opportunities for young people, fewer community programs, and less support for important services.

Looking after community places and vehicles helps everyone.

Respecting property means more resources for positive opportunities and activities that benefit the whole community.
