True North Event
We had a wonderful turnout for our Values Workshop! The women who attended, eager to deepen their understanding and expression of their true values, were not disappointed.
Our facilitators, Lisa Meritt and Suzanne Snoeks, guided participants through a powerful exploration of the difference between beliefs and values. Engaged discussions unfolded as women reflected on how their values have evolved through life’s experiences. Together, they identified and “grounded” their core values, creating a strong foundation for ethical decision-making and conscious action.
Participants left inspired to apply their clarified values in daily life, to strengthen relationships with family, colleagues, and within their workplaces, while aligning with their long-term goals.
Adding a creative touch, our local jewellery artist Heather Elwell led the afternoon activity, where participants designed personalised key-ring talismans. These beautiful keepsakes now serve as daily reminders of their values and as inspiration for their 2026 goals.
The following day, during our fortnightly Coffee Meet-up, the conversation continued. The discussion deepened as mothers reflected on how they may have passed on “conditioned belief systems” to their sons—beliefs that sometimes contribute to men feeling inadequate or unable to meet women’s expectations. It became a powerful session of awareness, self-forgiveness, and compassion toward both themselves and the men in their lives.
A truly Conscious and transformative experience for all who attended.
