Bay and Basin Camera Club

Bay and Basin Camera Club The BBCC meets at 7.30pm on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month (except the end of Dec and all Jan) Visitors are welcome to attend any of our meetings.

The Bay and Basin Camera Club was formed in 2008 for photographers in the Jervis Bay and St Georges Basin areas of the Shoalhaven (south coast of NSW). We provide an informative, casual and friendly atmosphere in which members and potential members can improve and expand their photographic knowledge and horizons. We meet on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:30pm at the Vincentia Com

munity Hall (see Location). Entry costs $3 which offsets the cost of the hire of the Centre and the coffee, tea and biscuits available during the evening. The meeting on the 2nd Tuesday of the month is an assessment night. members submit images for judging, usually by a guest judge. The meeting on the 4th Tuesday is a workshop or presentation on various aspects of photography. The Meetings usually finish at about 10pm. The club also holds impromptu photo shoots from time to time whenever the opportunities present themselves, with members notified via email. We have two sections for our competitions - Open and Set Subject. As the names suggest, the Open competition is open to any photograph, while the Set Subject is a specific topic chosen by the committee and advertised up to a year in advance.

A PDF of the presentation is available on our website athttp://www.bayandbasincameraclub.org.au/pdfs/interiorphotographyworkshop.pdf, but it's not as good as being there in person, so why not come along and give us a try? πŸ€” πŸ™‚
