We are a very small not for profit registered charity with a small and limited fundraising footprint – we re-home as close to cost as possib
le and refer to other larger charities where appropriate
About Us
The more time the three of us spent together, the more obvious it became that our goals for rescue were very much aligned. In just about every conversation, at least once one of us would say “it’s all about the dogs” and that the reason we had kept going for so long was because we were “doing it for the dogs”. It was a common thread
Between being asked what we were going to do and our own thinking, It became apparent we couldn’t just cease doing something to which we were so committed. It didn’t take long before the name All 4 Dachshunds became firstly a thought, then a possibility, and now we have the reality of this, our new, fledgling not for profit. With 20 years in rescue and 18 dachshunds between us, 13 of which are rescues or rehomes, we (Rosalia, Shelley and Anne) have seen a lot. We’ve shed many tears from an abundance of sadness but those tearful times have been outweighed happily by lots of positives. Urgent Temporary Care Program
SOS is a program hosted by All 4 Dachshunds Rescue & Rehoming designed to minimise the need for surrender and rehome. Are you struggling to secure permanent living arrangements? Are you elderly or disabled and unable to care for your Dachshund due to a medical/emergency situation? If so we invite you to reach out to SOS. SOS has an extensive foster carer network on hand in most states, who all have experience in Dachshunds and are waiting to open up their homes & hearts to those in need. They will foster & love your hounds until you sort out life's challenges.
