Want to feel more confident when life throws the unexpected? Come along to our Prep Your Kit workshop, a hands-on family day packed with skills, tips, and free resources to help you get disaster ready.

Here’s what you’ll learn & do:
✅ How to sandbag effectively before a storm
✅ Simple car skills like changing a tyre
✅ Build the beginnings of your family emergency kit (take home some free resources!)
✅ Join the Red Cross Pillowcase Project, a creative, age-appropriate activity for kids to learn about being ready
✅ Chat with experts from SES, Men’s Shed, Red Cross & City of Gold Coast for practical tips you can use right away

🌭 Plus: free sausage sizzle, activities for the kids, and stalls with take-home ideas.

What a fabulous morning we had at playgroup. The rain dried up and the sun came out so we got to play outside in the sunshine☀️. Thankyou to City of Gold Coast for the book 📕 bags for the playgroup children.

Today was all
about connection, laughter, and a few friendly games!

We welcomed residents from St Andrew’s Aged Care Facility for our Coffee & Chat, joined by our wonderful volunteers from the Robina Lions Club and Matt from our CRT Team.

From UNO battles to chess challenges and domino fun, our beautiful outdoor area was filled with smiles, conversation, and shared moments.

A big thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the morning so special - it’s days like these that remind us how much joy community brings.
