We have received several registration applications where horses are registered elsewhere but not DNA verified to one or both parents. This cannot be accepted for registration with AGHS.

REQUIREMENTS FOR PURE BRED REGISTRATIONS

1. Completed AGHS Application
2. DNA parent verification
3. Stallion Service Certification (if you don't own both mare and stallion)
4. Clear photographs for file and reg. cert.

If applying with an alternate registration in lieu of stallion service certificate the following must be provided:

1. Completed AGHS Application
2. DNA parent verification
3. Copy of alternate registration showing you as the registered owner
4. Clear photographs for file and reg. cert.

If applying for registration of a foal/horse where a parent is not AGHS registered, please provide a copy of that parent's own DNA parent verification and copy of current registration.
