🐴🐴🐴 Out and About 🐴🐴🐴

EM Lyns Little Abzette has had a very busy 2026, first year competing as a riding horse and proving that Gypsies can have a go at just about anything!
She competed at Gatton Heavy Horse (thank you AGHS for sponsoring), where she brought home:
• 1st Place Part Bred Mare
• Champion Part Bred Gypsy Cob
• 1st Place Gypsy/Part Bred Gypsy Barrel Race
• Overall Fastest Heavy Horse Barrel Racer
She also competed in all three rounds of the Saddle Up Boonah Super Utility Series, finishing 4th Overall for the series.
On top of that, she completed all three rounds of Saddle Up Boonah's Stockman's Challenge and Encouragement Cut Out. The cattle were the same size and some bigger than she was, but she certainly didn't care and gave it her best shot!
She's also been out competing at a number of barrel races against all the sporty, athletic barrel horses and has had an absolute ball doing it. At one of the barrel races we even had a go at pole bending, just to add another event to the list of things she's tried this year!
She also competed in the NBS Barrel Productions 'Big Dash' 2026, a barrel race run on a much bigger pattern in an arena the size of a campdraft arena. It was another opportunity for us to get out there, have a go and proudly carry the Gypsy flag at the same time.
