Cool nights calls for the comfort of warm puddings. 👩‍🍳🥄👨‍🍳

Comforting, light, not too sweet and with a fresh lemon tang, this quick and easy dessert magically transforms in the oven, baking into a delicate, fluffy sponge that rests on a warm pool of zesty lemon sauce. This has been a long time debate…

Jam or is it the cream that goes on the scone first??

You know you can find your own solution when you join us this year at Uraidla and Summertown Country Show on 1 November. We’ll have plenty of scones, jam and cream to help you decide.

🧶 Let’s Yarn Bomb Uraidla 🧶

Join us on Sunday 7 June from 10am as we help bring colour and warmth to Uraidla’s main street for winter.

Meet Di at the Uraidla Cottage Pharmacy and together we’ll yarn bomb our way along the township before heading to the Uraidla Hotel for brunch.

Di Liebelt — one of our wonderful CWA and community members — has again been the driving force behind this much-loved community initiative and would love your help. ❤️

Come along for a fun morning of community, colour and connection. ❤️

Please RSVP if you’d like to stay for brunch afterwards so we can confirm numbers.

🧶 Our next SACWA Uraidla & Districts meeting is coming up on Tuesday 2 June.

There’s plenty happening as we head into winter, including final preparations for this year’s Yarn Bombing Uraidla community display on Sunday 7 June.

Over the past few months, granny squares and colourful creations have slowly been taking shape at our monthly Sip & Stitch evenings — a lovely little community initiative that brings people together to learn, create and connect.
