We just wrapped up our final Toastmasters meeting for 2025 — thank you all for coming! It’s hard to believe we’re already at the end of the year.

A huge thank you to our committee:
• Tania (President) — for looking after the club and supporting every member
• Arthur (Secretary & VPE) — for organising our meetings and agendas
• Kaiyo (Treasurer & VPM) — for keeping our finances on track and warmly welcoming guests and new members
• Cherian (Sergeant at Arms) — for keeping everything running smoothly on the night
• Colin (Parliamentarian) — for your guidance on procedures, setting a great example, and always being so helpful

And last but definitely not least — thank you to every member for making our club such a fantastic one.

We also made history this year: five new members joined at the same time! 🎉 And 7 in total in 2025.

A special shout-out to Penny, who confidently delivered her first speech tonight — well done! 👏

Welcome again to Mike, our newest member tonight — we’re excited to grow as speakers alongside you next year. And welcome to Leela, our guest — hope to see you again in 2026!

It’s hard to say goodbye to 2025, but an even more promising 2026 is ahead. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. See you in 2026! 🎄✨

What a wonderful contest night! It’s especially inspiring to see participants who have just recently joined our club — applause to you all! That’s the true spirit of Toastmasters!

And a special thanks to our President, Tania, who once again worked her magic to solve those unexpected hiccups behind the scenes. We really appreciate your leadership and calm under pressure.

A big thank you to our President for keeping the energy high with a quick agenda change and an extra round of warm-up — it really set the tone.

👏 Special kudos to Mr. D and Miss C for their speeches — two delightful real-life stories that were both interesting and humorous. They had us laughing, learning, and fully engaged all the way through.

For the first time ever, we had three brand-new Toastmasters give their Icebreaker speeches in the same meeting! 🥳 Each one was inspiring, personal, and so great to listen to.

Today, we introduced a brand-new session called “Cool Down” — the perfect complement to our “Warm Up”!

This segment wraps up the meeting by giving everyone a chance to reflect, share what we did well, suggest areas for improvement, and offer any final thoughts. It’s a simple yet powerful way to hear from every voice in the room.

It’s new, it’s engaging — and we’re already loving it! After all, who doesn’t enjoy being heard?
