What could 100 look like?
100 moments of kindness.
100 conversations.
100 reasons to smile.
100 cups of coffee shared with friends.
100 small actions that make a big difference.

At ADHD Australia, we're getting ready to launch something a little different.
Something built around connection.
Something built around community.
Something built around participation.

👇 If you had your own "100", what would it be?

For many people with ADHD, conversations don't always end when the interaction finishes.

A comment might stay with them. A conversation might resurface later. Sometimes the mind continues to reflect, process, and make sense of an interaction long after the moment has passed.

People process information, emotions, and experiences in different ways and at different speeds. For some, understanding and reflection continue well beyond the conversation itself.

Different minds process conversations differently, and experiences like these are more common than many people realise.

Sometimes productive days don't feel productive for those with ADHD

Remember to celebrate the little things. Pat yourself on the back.
Be kind to yourself and breathe.

Sometimes progress is simply replying to one message, remembering an appointment, taking a break before becoming overwhelmed, asking for help, or simply trying again the next day.

How much of your ADHD is in your DNA?

Research shows that ADHD has a heritability rate of around 74-80%, this puts ADHD's heritability in the same realm as height.
Jae Eddison dives into the DNA debate. Read the full article on ADHD Australia's website. https://www.adhdaustralia.org.au/how-much-of-your-adhd-is-in-your-dna/

With ADHD, some days feel easier to navigate than others.

There are days where conversations flow, responsibilities feel manageable, and focus comes more naturally.

Then there are days where simple tasks require far more mental energy than people realise.

Experiences like this are not a reflection of effort, care, intelligence, or capability. They are often part of the reality of managing attention, energy, and competing demands throughout the day.

As we recognise Men's Mental Health Month, it's also a reminder that not every challenge is visible, and not every person will talk openly about what they're carrying.

Be kind to yourself today. Whatever your day looks like, progress is still progress.

Boys, men and ADHD.
For some men, ADHD may not look loud or obvious. It can sometimes show up through constantly staying busy, overworking, burnout, restlessness, or finding it hard to ever fully switch off.

Everyone experiences ADHD differently, but conversations around men’s mental health and neurodiversity matter especially in communities, families, friendships, and workplaces where many people may be carrying more than others can see.

June is Men’s Mental Health Month. Lets create space for supportive, informed, and judgement-free conversations that can make a meaningful difference.

Sometimes understanding starts with simply checking in so remember to check in with your ADHD loved ones this month.
