Heroes in Hospitals A Tasmanian based group of volunteers dressing as characters to visit sick children and their families.

Heroes in Hospitals are a Tasmanian based group of everyday regular people who dress up as children’s characters to visit paediatric clinics and wards across the state. They try to bring some joy to children and their families during difficult times, even if it’s only for a few hours. Heroes in Hospitals believes that the limited time some of these children have is precious. They look to create happy memories for these children and their families during a difficult and painful time in
their lives. You can support Heroes in Hospitals by
- donating toys
- donating art supplies
- donating comics and children’s books
- joining up and becoming a hero yourself
