Congratulations to MD Brick (NSW) Pty Ltd, one of our long time Variety B2B Bash supporters. 👏👏👏
20 years of MD Brick. And it all started with this man. 👏
Martin Driene
If you were buying from MD Brick back in 2006, you might remember buying your bricks from Martin, working from a garage office, out on the road meeting customers and suppliers, building relationships and starting to bring new brands on board.
At the time, there was Martin and one staff member, Cheryl, who is also still with MD Brick today!
Somehow, amongst all of that, he was also a dad, a husband, coaching the soccer team and presumably finding some time to sleep!
Fast forward 20 years and a lot has changed.
MD Brick now has:
❇️ 3 sites across NSW,
❇️ a team of 26,
❇️ supplies more than 15 brands and
❇️ hundreds of products.
Martin might spend a little more time behind the scenes these days, but he’s still building supplier relationships, looking for new products and opportunities, supporting the team and yes, still coaching soccer.
One thing that hasn’t changed is his passion for the industry and for supporting the builders, bricklayers, landscapers, specifiers and customers who have helped make MD Brick what it is today.
From all of us at MD Brick, congratulations, Martin Driene, on 20 years and thank you for everything you’ve put into building MD Brick from a garage office into the successful business it is today.
20 years down. Not bad! 😉
