We help communities and schools address litter, waste and reduce single-use, disposable plastic via initiatives and projects that foster collaboration between all community sectors. Our background is in entertainment and public speaking and use this to platform to effectively engage, inspire, empower and enable communities, usually in partnership with local government, to become involved and act. Plastic Pollution Solutions provides highly engaging environmental awareness presentations & talks to a variety of different audiences around Australia including clubs, organisations, social groups but with special focus on primary and secondary schools. The school presentations are created with a view to capturing and holding the attention of the audience on an emotional, ethical and logical level with a mixture of images, video, facts and activities. They complement and link to several different strands and domains on the Australian curriculum including Sustainability and Human Behaviour & the Environment. In addition to educating the audience, the aim is to cause them to think deeply about the content and to inspire, enable and empower them to take action. The Family Trivia Shows are designed to be an entertaining night of general knowledge trivia and other competitions aimed at the entire family from primary school age children to their grandparents. It will last approximately two and a half hours with some questions and competitions being implemented to inform and raise awareness about plastic pollution. A big part of these trivia nights is to pass on initiatives and projects that individuals and communities can undertake to reduce or eliminate their use of plastic.
