Kalgoorlie-Boulder parkrun A free, weekly, timed 5k event every Saturday morning at 8am at Karlkurla Bushland Park. Everyone is welcome to walk, run or volunteer.

Kalgoorlie-Boulder parkrun is a FREE weekly timed 5km event for runners of all standards, which takes place every Saturday at 8am in Karlkurla Bushland Park. Kalgoorlie-Boulder parkrun is FREE and open to people of all standards and ages, both as volunteers and as runners / walkers. We encourage people of every ability to take part, from those taking their first steps in running to Olympians, from juniors 5 years or older to those with decades of experience. All runners receive encouragement and enjoy being part of a community event open to all standards. Equally, our volunteer teams come from a huge variety of backgrounds and we urge everybody to get involved in organising their local events at least 3 times per year.

For 21 years, we've walked for Daniel on the Sunshine Coast, joined by thousands of locals and supporters from further afield. Now the walk is going national, thanks to parkrun Australia.

On Saturday 31 October, 550 parkrun events across the country are invited to take part in parkwalk for Daniel. Wherever you live, wear red and walk for child safety.

🎉 Kalgoorlie-Boulder parkrun – 13th Birthday Celebration! 🎉

What a fantastic morning celebrating 13 years of Kalgoorlie-Boulder parkrun! 💚

Since our first event on 12 October 2013, our parkrun community has grown into something truly special. We have now welcomed 6,661 participants, completed 64,807 parkruns, covered an incredible 324,035 kilometres, and recorded 9,136 personal bests! We have also had 694 individuals volunteer a total of 5,292 times. What an amazing achievement for our community!

A very special and heartfelt THANK YOU to Allison and Nigel Hunter, who started Kalgoorlie-Boulder parkrun and helped create the wonderful community we enjoy today. Your vision, commitment and enthusiasm have made such a lasting difference, bringing people together through walking, running, volunteering and friendship. ❤️

A big congratulations to everyone who joined us for event #669, including our first finishers, first-timers, milestone achievers and those who celebrated a personal best. A huge thank you to our wonderful volunteers, whose time and dedication make parkrun possible every week.

A special shout-out to all our amazing Volunteers and Run Directors for continuing to make Kalgoorlie-Boulder parkrun such a welcoming and inclusive place for everyone.
