Figtree/Unanderra Playgroup Playgroup is a place for parents/carers and their children to have fun, chat and socialise in a safe, supportive environment. We are run and managed by parents.

A playgroup is a place for playing, growing, making friends and having fun, for children and their parents and carers. Young children learn best in the presence of happy, supportive and involved adults. Playgroup is

all about co-operation, tolerance, creativity, making friends and having fun together. Children experience the joy of simple things in an environment where adults and children care about each other and learn from each other. The aim is for parent and child participation. A playgroup belongs to everyone who attends, so everyone has an equal say in how it operates. Playgroups should always be fun. Creating an atmosphere in which children can safely learn, experiment, create and make friends is the challenge! There are lots of interesting things to do – crafts, singing, storytelling, playdough, painting, and more.
