❤️ Looking for a Meaningful Way to Spend Your Time?
Volunteering isn’t just about giving your time.
It’s about finding purpose, making genuine friendships, learning new skills, and becoming part of something bigger than yourself.
At the Ulverstone Salvos Thrift Store, every volunteer helps create a welcoming space where our community can shop affordably, reduce waste, and know that every purchase supports people doing it tough.
When you volunteer with us, you’re helping to:
🤝 Support local people in need.
♻️ Give quality items a second life.
💙 Build a stronger, more connected community.
😊 Brighten someone’s day with a smile or friendly conversation.
But volunteering gives back, too.
Many of our volunteers tell us they’ve gained lifelong friendships, confidence, new skills, and a sense of belonging. Whether you’re retired, studying, returning to work, looking to meet new people, or simply wanting to make a difference, there’s a place for you here.
No experience? No worries.
We’ll provide training, support you every step of the way, and welcome you into a team that genuinely cares for one another.
Our volunteers are the heart of our store, and we simply couldn’t do what we do without them.
If you’ve ever thought, “Maybe volunteering is for me,” this is your sign.
Come in for a chat, meet the team, and see what makes the Ulverstone Salvos Thrift Store such a special place to volunteer.
❤️ A few hours of your time can make a lifetime of difference, for someone else, and for you.
