Weโ€™re very pleased to share a positive update with the Community.

The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing has confirmed an extension to funding for vital Community programs, reversing their previous decision to cease a proportion of these services.

This result reflects strong advocacy from our Senior Management, Board and Community Members, who have all contributed to this outcome. We thank all involved in addition to our staff for their continued commitment throughout this challenging period.

Maintaining valuable Community Services is something that No.34 Aboriginal Health Service and Rural Health Tasmania are deeply committed to, with this result now allowing for future planning of these vital services.

Again, thank you to the many who have contributed to this positive result.
