I don't anyone to miss Neale's last Cradle Country Music Festival next weekend. A huge credit to him, connecting, promoting and funding this event over 10 years largely on his own - just for the LOVE of Country Music and the joy it brings us all.

Get on down to the Ulverstone Rowing Club next weekend - if only to shake his hand.

This morning we got out the door and into the street delivering mental health resources and helpful things to the retailers in Reibey Street Ulverstone. Positive vibes and some useful conversations to guide the work of the Mental Health Alliance for next year.

Carers deserve to be seen, heard and supported.

This National Carers Week, AFDO recognises the contribution of unpaid carers, including people with disability who also support family members and friends.

This year’s theme, “Care for a carer: Making carers visible”, reminds us to recognise carers in our families, workplaces and communities.

Recognition must come with practical support: accessible information, flexible workplaces, opportunities for a break and services that carers can rely on.

People with disability and carers both have the right to make choices, participate in their communities and access the support they need.

🌿 It Takes a Village – Children’s Week at Little Sprouts!
Come along to Little Sprouts Garden at Ulverstone Community Garden for a morning of fun, creativity and connection as part of Children’s Week!

We’ll have Pip’s Circus bringing wonderful circus tricks and entertainment, plus nature play, garden exploration, collaborative mural painting and plenty of mud-cake making in the Little Sprouts kitchen.

Come along, explore and play — there’s something for everyone!

We are also running another event supporting Turners Beach Playgroup on Friday 30tb October 10-11.30.
