Operating since 1948, the Australian Publishers Association (APA) advocates for and guides the publishing industry in Australia. We champion the importance of the published word to the educational, social, cultural and intellectual life of Australia.
The APA represents all publishing businesses in Australia: big and small, commercial and non-profit, popular and academic, large multinational and local independent. We are an advocate, collaborator, advisor and educator.
Our membership is open to any person or company engaged in publishing activity in Australia. Members of our association have access to high-level industry professional development, support and guidance, networking and training. Learn more about becoming a member.
