Colleen Allan our guest speaker spoke on Talk2MeBro an Australian mental health and su***de prevention organisation was founded in 2018, it delivers initiatives focused around giving men and women the tools to feel comfortable having effective, meaningful conversations around mental health, facilitates retreats, seminars in schools, workplaces, sports clubs and across our communities.

FROM INTEREST TO INDUSTRY, ROTARIANS HELP
Early this week, Rotarians helped the event by cooking and serving sausage and onion to all the participants. Karen Lissa addressed the club last month and asked for Rotarians to assist , the cost of the food will be generously covered by Community

ROYAL MILITARY COLLEGE BAND, DUNTROON, CONCERT
What a concert, hosted by the Rotary Club of Milton-Ulladulla, over 200 community members enjoyed an excellent night, at the Dunn Lewis Centre. Thank you Gayle Dunn and staff for the delicious canape. An auction, conducted by Stephen Hladio, of two framed photos, by the late Michael Van Ewijk, and a raffle for a third image and wines.

CANCER SUPPORT FOUNDATION OF MILTON ULLADULLA
On behalf of our club, Wayne Fry presented Peter Still and Tom O’Callahan with a cheque donation for CSF of $5,000.
Peter Still and Tom O’Callahan were our guest speakers, Tom spoke on the Cancer Support Foundation of Milton Ulladulla (CSF), (formerly the Cancer Outpatients Appeal), a community volunteer-based charity, committed to fundraising and advocating for the enhancement of the provision of cancer related clinical and support services, including palliative care, to residents of the Southern Shoalhaven.
The CSF has the ability to support patients who were financially struggling during the treatment of their Cancer, or while in Palliative Care, with fuel and food vouchers. Please spread the word and donations to CSF are tax deductible.

‘FROM INTEREST TO INDUSTRY’
Karen Lissa was the guest speaker last week, Karen is organising a ‘From Interest to Industry’, Apprenticeship and Traineeship Information Evening, at the Dunn Lewis Centre on 2 June 2026 from 3:00 to 7:00pm.
Several local organisations, centres and advisors are the sponsors, our club will be involved by organising a BBQ for all attendees. The cost of the food will be generously covered by Community Bendigo Bank Milton & South Coast.

INTERNATIONAL NURSES DAY
Last Tuesday Rotarians helped all the staff at the Milton Hospital celebrate the International Nurses Day, by preparing and serving a BBQ and salads.
