We are delighted to announce Ayden Mackenzie JP as the next Chief Commissioner of Australia.

With more than two decades of Scouting leadership experience, Ayden brings a wealth of expertise in youth development, organisational leadership and delivering quality Scouting programs. As he steps into this important national leadership role, we look forward to the experience, energy and vision he will bring to the future of Scouting across Australia. Ayden’s appointment will officially take effect from 22 November 2026.

Celebrating 60 years of creativity, performance and Scouting.

Former Camberwell Showtime cast member Andy Lee has been scarfed up by a group of the show’s first-year cast members. This followed a special presentation by Chief Commissioner of Australia Brendan Watson OAM, celebrating Camberwell Showtime’s 60th innovative production.

The show is written afresh each year by more than 100 young people (like Andy Lee did in his day) and performed by a cast of more than 170.

Camberwell Showtime's season is sold out except tonight Friday at 7:30pm.

Showtimes, Revues and Gang Shows across the country celebrate the creativity, talent and skills that young people develop through Scouting and the creative industries. Eligible youth members may also have opportunities to gain Creative Industries qualifications through Scouts Australia Institute of Training (SAIT) RTO 5443, recognising their skills and experience.

Cubs had a trip to Nan Tein Temple today at Wollongong. They learnt about the Buddhist culture, tried the food and even had a go at Tai Chi!

Our Joey's have been having so much fun..... it's a crime...

So a trip to Ulladulla Police Station was in order.

They were arrested, thrown in the paddy wagon, shown to the cells and had a serious conversation with Senior Constable Mark.

The Joey's absolutely loved tonight's adventure into the community, seeing how police help us, and make us safe.

Thank you Senior Constable Mark and Ulladulla Police Station!

the Scouts continued their Survival program with a night hike to the top of Pigeon house mountain on Friday night - did you see their lights ?

As our World Scout Day Activity, we continued our plan to complete the Murramarang south coast walk, this was last leg the third hike being 17km was a true test for our keen hikers!
Special World Scout Day thanks to our Adult helpers who without their assistance with transport and coming along on the hike, these trips would not be possible - our group is only as strong as our adult volunteers' input. This is a fantastic walk right on our doorstep and can easily be done in parts to make numerous day hikes

Congratulations to our Cub Felicity and Joey Logan, that's one way to celebrate World Scout Day!

It must have been the day for SpongeBob winners when Felicity and Logan struck it lucky and won the “rare” SpongeBob card on the way to completing their set.

There was a lot of whooping and excitement! 🎉🎉
