Ulladulla parkrun

Participant profile: Meet Daniel!

On Saturday, we welcomed Daniel to his very first Ulladulla parkrun!

Daniel was joined by his good friend Chad, who came to visit him. Daniel walked the course alongside his friend Moe, while Chad volunteered as our Tail Walker.

If you live around town, chances are you’ve seen Daniel out and about. He’s a very active member of our community and always happy to lend a hand wherever he can.

Daniel enjoyed walking the track, bumping into familiar faces and having a chat with people he knows along the way. He’s hoping to make parkrun a monthly outing, weather permitting — because walking is great, but walking in the rain? Not so much says Daniel!

Thanks for joining us, Daniel, and thanks to Chad for volunteering. We hope to see you both back on the track soon — and we’ll try to keep the rain away for Daniel!

Ulladulla parkrun needs YOU, and YOU need a U!

Come along this Saturday and tick off the letter U in your parkrun alphabet challenge.

See you Saturday!

A wet start to Parkrun 22 (two little ducks)!

A big thank you to all our volunteers who came out and helped make today’s event happen despite the wet conditions.

We had 109 brave runners and walkers take on the rain. Some might have called it a typical English summer’s day, and one of our visitors came all the way from England to test himself on our hilly course!

The best thing about the rain? It kept the moths away!

Thanks everyone for another great Ulladulla parkrun.
