We are now preparing for our third program of the year and our 34th program nationally.

If you are a current serving or ex serving ADF member/family member looking for genuine one on one time with your child, away from the noise and distractions of the outside world, then don’t miss this opportunity.

The Younger Heroes programs are built around connection, resilience, communication and teamwork. Families disconnect from technology and reconnect with each other alongside other like minded families who understand the unique challenges that can come with service life.

Last year’s Southern Highlands program filled quickly and spots are limited again this year.

Our next program will be held from 26 to 28 June at the beautiful property in the Southern Highlands, NSW.

From The Younger Heroes team we acknowledge the tragic death of Warrant Officer Class Two Lachlan Muddle, who sadly lost his life following a parachuting training incident on 11 May 2026.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones, members of the Regiment, all those in the wider community who have been impacted by this devastating loss.

As we approach Anzac Day,
I’d like to acknowledge and thank all the men and women, and the families behind them, who have served and supported the country we call home, Australia. 🇦🇺

It’s always a significant day in my year.

A time to reflect on family, mates, and those who stepped forward to protect this nation. It’s a day to thank them, a day to remember those who never came home, and those who carried the weight of service long after it ended.

The history of our nation lives within the stories of these men and women. Some share the stories some don’t.

Let’s make sure they know we stand behind them. Not just on Anzac Day, but every day.

The photo is of my great grandfather, who served in the Australian Light Horse Brigade during the Boer War.
His image is used on a Boer War descendant medallion, honouring those who served and the families connected to that history. It’s also displayed in the Australian War Memorial.

Service and sacrifice run deep through Australian history, and as Anzac Day approaches, let’s reflect on what that means.
The generations that shaped this nation we call home. So let’s make it up to them and show them the respect they deserve. 🇦🇺

We are incredibly fortunate to be able to use this property and share its unique environment with TYH families.

56 hours in nature. No distractions. Just good people, real connection, and a group representing 226 years of service to our country.
