Hearts Aflame Productions is a non-profit organization that continues to bring highly successful, quality productions to Tyalgum village.

It was created to support the Arts in this region and to offer young students with a passion for the performing arts the opportunity to work with some of the top artists in the country . With a wide variety of tutors and performers experiencing Tyalgum through this medium a

small group of young people have had masteclasses and workshops in latin & ballroom dancing, musical theatre and specialty theatrical workshops in Commedia dell Arte with a theatre teacher from NIDA in Sydney. Hearts Aflame Productions is dedicated to providing the Tweed Valley with the highest quality live performance events as well as tuition in the performing arts for young people with a passion for performance.

In 2015, Justin & Amy Sharrock took to the floor at the Tyalgum Dance Spectacular.

Now, 11 years later, they're coming back.

And they return to Tyalgum as the current Australian Professional Latin American Champions. 🏆

As we celebrate 15 years of the Dance Spectacular, it's wonderful to welcome back artists who have been part of the event's story — and to see where their own extraordinary journey has taken them in the years since.

This November, Justin & Amy Sharrock return to the Tyalgum Community Hall as part of our very special 15th Anniversary line-up.

2026 marks our 15th Anniversary as a company, and throughout the year we’re taking a look back at some of the wonderful artists, performances and special moments that have been part of the Hearts Aflame Productions journey.

And today marks a particularly special anniversary…

Exactly 10 years ago today, on 20 August 2016, one of Australia’s leading ladies of the musical stage, Rachael Beck, performed her wonderful one-woman show for us at the Tyalgum Community Hall.

It was a very special night for our little village, welcoming one of Australia’s most celebrated musical theatre stars to the Tyalgum stage.

As we complete the line-up for our 15th Anniversary Tyalgum Dance Spectacular, we are delighted to welcome back two extraordinary favourites of the Tyalgum stage — Christopher Wilson & Jordan Kopp-Collins.

Christopher & Jordan are the undefeated Australian Professional New Vogue Champions for 2024 and 2025, and the reigning Queensland Professional New Vogue Champions, holding the title every year from 2022–2026.

Their elegance, precision and unmistakable New Vogue style have made them firm favourites with our audiences, and we couldn't imagine this milestone anniversary without them.

They join an exceptional 2026 line-up featuring Australia's current Professional Latin American Champions Justin & Amy Sharrock, Australian DanceSport Championship semi-finalists Samuel Brown & Charlise Phillips, acclaimed dramatic soprano Livia Brash, and our much-loved host Mark Wilson.

🎶 ANNOUNCING SOPRANO LIVIA BRASH 🎶

We are delighted to announce acclaimed Australian dramatic soprano Livia Brash as our featured vocal artist for the 15th Anniversary Tyalgum Dance Spectacular.

Winner of the 2025 Sydney Eisteddfod Scholarship and Runner-up in the prestigious Herald Sun Aria, Livia is rapidly emerging as one of Australia's most exciting operatic voices.

In 2026, Livia covered the title role of Turandot for Opera Australia at the Sydney Opera House, alongside performances as Fricka in Das Rheingold and Marguerite in Faust. Her extensive operatic repertoire also includes leading roles in Macbeth, Nabucco, Rusalka, Tosca, La Bohème and Così fan tutte.

Her acclaimed portrayal of Lady Macbeth also earned her nominations for both the Green Room Award for Outstanding Performer in a Leading Role and the OperaChaser Critics Choice Award for Outstanding Female in a Leading Role.

Livia will perform a selection of classical arias and much-loved favourites throughout the evening.

We are thrilled to welcome Livia to Tyalgum for the first time as part of this very special anniversary celebration.

We're thrilled to announce that Samuel Brown & Charlise Phillips will present the Ballroom showcase at the 15th Annual Tyalgum Dance Spectacular on Saturday 14 November.

Among Australia's leading competitive ballroom couples, Samuel and Charlise were semi-finalists at the 2025 Australian DanceSport Championships before going on to achieve an outstanding 3rd place in the Adult Open Standard at the 2025 Oceania DanceSport Championship, competing against some of the finest dancers from Australia and overseas.

Bringing a blend of grace, musicality and championship-calibre dancing, Samuel and Charlise are sure to captivate audiences with their elegance, artistry and technique.

Join us for an unforgettable evening featuring three of Australia's finest dance couples, a special guest soprano, and an inspiring celebration of dance in the intimate surrounds of the Tyalgum Community Hall.

Our Weekend of Folk in Tyalgum continues this Saturday at Flutterbies with a special concert from Canadian trio Inn Echo.

Known for their electrifying blend of fiddle and guitar, Inn Echo bring driving Celtic rhythms and soaring melodies into the intimate setting of Flutterbies — the kind of performance where every note lands and the room becomes part of the music.
