We are so proud and humbled to announce Herd_Harmony successfully applied for a grant from DEECA, to build our new round yard. This new training facility, helps us rehab and train our rescue horses & ponies!🐴

JUST LOOK AT HIM NOW!! When Chance (Tarleton Brad) was rescued from the slaughter house, we weren't sure if he would make the journey & when he arrived at Wilindi_Estate he was close to collapse due to malnutrition and dehydration. In spite of this he remained good natured. He received the best of care from our wonderful equine specialist & slowly, through the dedication and care of our volunteers, he has absolutely THRIVED! This beautiful boy is now ready for adoption as a companion horse & can't wait to give some lucky new owner instructions on precisely where to scratch his beautifully healed body! ###

We have had more applications to adopt Amber than any other horse, but the fit has never been quite right until we met Tina. Tina has adopted rescue horses previously and offers them a LIFETIME of love & understanding. Amber’s new home with Tina is DIVINE, only 7 minutes from Wilindi_Estate and is peaceful and full of happy new friends. Indigo & I did shed some tears, she’s a very special horse, but we know she’s going to be well taken care of and we will visit often. Congratulations to this beautiful girl….it seems a lifetime ago when we outbid a dealer who was filling an order for meat horses. Without Herd Harmony stepping in, Amber would have died a brutal and horrific death in a ‘knock box’ this is why we do the work we do at Herd Harmony.

It’s been a week for bloodletting…

Urgent call to action to hold the FEI accountable for once again defying their own Horse Welfare Code of Conduct in favour of competitive and commercial interests.

The FEI has passed a rule revision that will no longer eliminate horses for bleeding in competition.

EVEN IF the blood is caused by the rider and/or equipment used.

This revision does not protect the horses. It makes welfare subordinate to commercial interests, something the FEI condemns in their own welfare code of conduct.

Say NO to blood 🩸

Hold the FEI accountable for their failure to protect horses and the integrity of the sport.

Use the email form in my bio to contact sponsors and urge them to drop their support of FEI competition.

This revision sets a bad precedent for horse sport.

It tells the world that the horses don’t matter.

Please comment, like, share to spread the word. The world needs to know about this.

Contact your favourite animal loving celebrities, don’t let this go unnoticed.

The FEI needs to know that they will lose public support if they continuously neglect horse welfare in favour of competition.
