Last Friday, we were heartbroken to learn of the passing of our dear mate and much-loved Barwon Heads Cycling Club member, Dave Linden after a short battle with Cancer.

Dave’s love of riding, friendship and community meant so much to our club, and he will be deeply missed.

Dave also enjoyed racing with .cc both on the road and the velodrome.

A memorial service to honour and celebrate Dave’s life will be held at the 13th Beach Surf Lifesaving Club on Saturday 21 March at 3.00pm.

We know he’ll be watching on with that big grin of his.

Barwon Heads cyclists have endured gruelling conditions to raise money for charity. With over a week of recovery its time to reflect on our achievements.

8 days of riding bikes, in the sun ,rain, gale force winds and snow, 900+km with over 9000m of climbing is a feat in itself.

But most importantly we have raised over $28k for 💕👏👏🙂‍↔️

Well done to all the riders and the supporting crew.
