🚒🔥💪 CARLA ANSWERED THE CALL 💪🔥🚒
Carla is one of our esteemed cadet graduates, officially joining us when she was 11 years old. However, Carla’s commitment to the CFS started way before that. Her Mum, Dad, two Uncles, and Brother are all long serving members of the brigade, you could say her service began before she was born. It’s easy to see why Carla joined the CFS, it’s ultimately in her blood. Familial ties aside, Carla enjoys lending a hand to people in need. In addition to her service she works FIFO as an underground truck driver, has her own PT/fitness business as well as supporting the CFS on her week off. Carla, above all else, loves the people in our brigade. She says that they are her second family, even though most of them are her actual relatives.
Carla, thank you for your commitment and service over the past decade, we hope to continue serving allongside us for many decades to come.

🚒🔥💪 Nigel answered the call 💪🔥🚒 Nigel has been a part of the Two Wells Brigade for the past 14 years. As a Lieutenant, Nigel diligently keeps us safe on the fireground. In additon to his volunteering commitment he works full time at a local flooring business, often coming straight from work to assist the community when it needs him most. As a Two Wells local, Nigel joined the CFS to serve his community. He enjoys serving along great firefighters at Two Wells, and we enjoy serving alongside him too. Thanks Nigel, for showing up for the community you love and leading us by example every time you do. 🚒🔥💪 Jon answered the call 💪🔥🚒 Jon joined the service in 2011, serving his community for over 15 years! Jon started his volunteer career at one of or neighbouring stations, making the move to Two Wells in 2018. He is ranked as a firefigher but is an experienced driver and Breathing Apparatus operator (BA). Jon Joined the CFS to kill some boredom and do something productive in his spare time. When he isn't fighting fires, he is a Full-Time freight train driver! Jon, some young boys dream of becoming firefighters, others dream of driving trains. You get to do both, 5-year-old Jon would be so proud! Jon says he enjoys the various emergencies we attend and the people you meet along the way. Thank you for all that you do, Jon! 🚒🔥💪 Emmanuele answered the call 💪🔥🚒 Emmanuele is a senior firefighter with the Two Wells CFS. He has been a dedicated volunteer for over 8 years, joining us in 2017. Emmanuele is a driver, often driving our truck during the day while other drivers are unavalible. He has responded to over 110 calls so far this financial year. When asked why he joined Emmanuele said "I'm not sure why, I just felt it was where I needed to be." Emmanele works full time at his business as a local Flower Farmer, but when he joined us in 2017 he was a night shift truck driver. Emmanule says that his favorite thing about volunteering at Two Wells CFS is the comaraderie and the family atmosphere; "to me, this makes the hard times easier, knowing you are with good people". Thanks Manny for your dedicated service! You're a valued member of our brigade and we'd be lost without you. We hope that everyone will help us celebrate Emmanuele in the comments below!

🚒💦 Even firefighters need sprinklers!

While we might be a fire station with heaps of hoses and equipment, we still rely on our humble sprinkler to keep our lawn looking green.

It seems ours have gone on an unexpected adventure — so if someone has borrowed them, could you please return it when you get a chance?
