On the 10th August we held our AGM. This year wasn’t an election year, however we all cramed into our truck bay to take the time to reflect on the year that was; the callouts we attended, the training we completed, the new members we welcomed, and the ones we said goodbye to🕊️.
Looking back across the last 12 months, we responded to 188 callouts, of that 47 were vehicle collisions 🚙, 38 grass fires 🔥, 30 stop calls🛑 , 16 car fires🚘, 12 rubbish fires🗑️, 9 assist other agencies 🚑, 9 structure fires 🏚️, 8 other❓, 7 fixed alarms🚨, 5 good intent calls💛, 4 storm damage🌪️, and 3 strike teams💥.
We are incredibly fortunate to have a strong member base that takes the time away from their families to help others. Even though we are always ready to lend a hand when something goes wrong its increasingly important that we stay alert on our roads, vigulant around grassland, and safe in our communites.
