We will be conducting a fuel reduction burn at the corner of Williams and Hayman rd today please don't be alarmed if you see smoke present in the area from about 4pm. This serves 2 purposes the 1st is to help mitigate fire risk and the 2nd as training for our crews. Its a good opportunity currently with rain predicted tomorrow. If weather conditions aren't satisfactory at 4pm we will not go ahead. Thanks for your continued cooperation and support.

A smoke alarm could save your life! The clocks are going forward at 3am Sunday morning and we're changing the batteries in our smoke alarms - you should too!

Change the battery, then push the button to 'ring the bell' and test that it is working how it should.

🔥🚒DALE ANSWERED THE CALL🚒🔥
Dale joined Two Wells CFS earlier this year, making him one of our newer recruits. Dale says he has always wanted to join the CFS and figured it was about time to join the volunteer firefighting community. Dale works full time, running his own fabrication and fencing business. The things he likes most about joining the CFS is meeting new people and responding to callouts.

Dale has made a great addition to the team, responding to multiple callouts over the past few months and constructing a purpose built PPE rack for the station to help house our new members gear. Thank you Dale for all that you do for your community.

🚒🔥MATT ANSWERED THE CALL🔥🚒
Matt is one of our newest recruits, joining us earlier this year. He has made quite the addition to our crew attending callouts after successfully completing his BFF1 course. He joined to get out into his community and lend a hand. He is definitely on track to achieve this. Matt works full time with defence housing, offering up his free time to crew the fire truck. He loves meeting new people and riding the truck, and we are so glad that he has joined.

On the 10th August we held our AGM. This year wasn’t an election year, however we all cramed into our truck bay to take the time to reflect on the year that was; the callouts we attended, the training we completed, the new members we welcomed, and the ones we said goodbye to🕊️.
Looking back across the last 12 months, we responded to 188 callouts, of that 47 were vehicle collisions 🚙, 38 grass fires 🔥, 30 stop calls🛑 , 16 car fires🚘, 12 rubbish fires🗑️, 9 assist other agencies 🚑, 9 structure fires 🏚️, 8 other❓, 7 fixed alarms🚨, 5 good intent calls💛, 4 storm damage🌪️, and 3 strike teams💥.
We are incredibly fortunate to have a strong member base that takes the time away from their families to help others. Even though we are always ready to lend a hand when something goes wrong its increasingly important that we stay alert on our roads, vigulant around grassland, and safe in our communites.
