Canowindra’ vision and legacy lives on. I was lucky enough to start work with Canowindra when Jacintha was just 8 weeks old, Jacintha has been with Canowindra for 12 months and now back from maternity leave with Baby Kalani just 12 weeks old …. Three generations and now we have our second little Miss Canowindra … welcome back Jacintha and welcome Kalani Jae to the Canowindra family

The new Aged Care Act begins on 1 November 2025.

It puts older people at the centre of their care.

It gives them the right to make decisions, feel safe and connect with their community.

The new system will be stronger, safer and fairer for everyone.
If you or a loved one is receiving aged care, you don’t need to do anything. Your care will continue, and you will only need a re-assessment when your needs change.

Beautiful day spent with some of our senior members of the community, started off with acknowledging Elders, beautiful entree, Aboriginal culture and Torres Street with a deadly demonstration of Taba-Naba… brings back memories of Aunty Buckie Bakoi… in a beautiful setting overlooking the Tweed Boat Harbour on such a beautiful day, forgot photos of main meal which was lamb shank or barramundi followed by sticky date pudding or pavlova ….
