Congratulations on stepping into the ring last night Jonathon Davis⁩ and going the distance đŸ’ȘđŸŒ

We didn’t get the result we wanted, but the result doesn’t tell the story of last night.

đŸ„Š SOME MOMENTS ARE BIGGER THAN THE RESULT đŸ„Š

Five years ago, you walked through the doors of the PCYC Tweed Heads Youth Boxing Classes as a young kid — turning up every week, learning your craft and always putting your hand up to spar when others wouldn’t.

Five years later, you stepped through those ropes as a young man and showed courage, heart and character. â€ïžđŸ„Š

Coaches Ky, Cookie and Corey couldn’t have been prouder watching you last night. Not because of the result, but because of the journey that got you there. That transformation is something nobody can ever take away from you.

Take the lessons, learn from them and come back stronger. And next time, let’s unleash that right bomb we all know you’ve got! đŸ’ŁđŸ„Š

A special mention to Ky⁩ for everything you’ve done for Jon since you started coaching at the Club. The time, care and commitment you’ve given him — often going above and beyond — has been incredible to watch. For a head coach, you’ve shown maturity and care well beyond your years. đŸ™ŒđŸŒ

We’re proud of you both. This is only the beginning đŸ„Š

Keep turning up. Keep learning. Keep fighting.

Here’s a highlights video from a night we’ll remember. đŸ„Š

02/10/2026

It’s Game Day for our lad Jono Davis đŸ„Š He kicked off his Boxing Journey 5 years ago at our Boxing Classes with Corey, Jon and Cookie and has been eagerly honing his craft ever since đŸ„Š Over the past 2 years our Head Coach Ky has been working very closely with Jono on his fight skills and technique by prepping him for his first fight tonight, you’ve certainly come a long way Jonathon Davis đŸ’ȘđŸŒ It is your time tonight mate đŸ„ŠđŸ„Š
