Kids In Need—Information
Kids In Need (KIN) is a local charity run by a small group of volunteers that began in 1982 - it is a very successful and much needed organisation in our local community for more than 39 years. KIN raise funds for local children with a chronic illness or have a disability. Requests are made to KIN by supporting letters from specialists, medical practitioners and speciali
sed professionals for such items as: rehabilitation equipment, orthotics and ongoing medical costs for specialised treatment, therapeutic and medical equipment to enhance the quality of the child’s life. KIN works closely with health professionals and rely on their expertise when making a decision in relation to requests. There is a KIN – ‘Care & Share’ equipment lending pool that has a variety of special needs equipment available to be loaned or used as needed. The equipment is kindly being stored at Helen Keogh’s Therapy rooms. Kindly Move Physiotherapy (Murwillumbah): 0266 727 739
