Is a Not for Profit Turill Community Hall Would Not Exist Without the Continuing Support of the People of Turill & Uarbry & Immediate Area

The Turill Community Centre started its life as The Turill Public Primary School, when the school was closed the building & grounds were gifted to the Community of Turill. The original weatherboard building was the whole school (Kindy to Sixth Class) it is now the kitchen, though the building still retains the characteristics of a weatherboard school of years gone by. Our community hall I’m sure would be no more if it hadn’t been for the dedicated long standing committee members & residents who over the years held numerous events, raised monies & applied for grants. With this they added an extension, built three toilets blocks, had the building re-plumbed, re-wired. Sorry
The Hall can be hired, facilities includes a functional kitchen, 2 microwave ovens, pie warmer, crockery, cutlery, hot plate, 2 oven, fridges, ample tables & chairs, mens , women's and disabled toilets.

I'm sorry to say I have some very sad new. Little Chase, aka Little Buddy, aka Hopity, aka Mr Peabody took a turn for the worse a few days ago and he passed away today. I want to say a heartfelt thank you to Kristy and Isabel for rescuing and caring for the little guy. Once his leg healed, his persistent cough went away he rallied round enjoying his tucker, scoping the house yard, sitting next to me and getting lots of pats. The vet said he had a big heart murmur and his little heart gave out. I'm so pleased he was here with me. I believe his last few months spent with me were happy months. He was loved and cared for. RIP Little Boy I'll miss you 💔

NOTICE CONCERNING AUSTRALIA POST'S PARCEL DELIVERY IN TURILL.

The posties "Authority to Leave Parcels Forms" are no longer valid with the rules of Australia Post. Only parcels that are deemed "Safe Drop Abled" are allowed to be delivered

You will have to go to your Auspost App and tick the "Safe Drop Enabled" in order for your parcels to be delivered.

The posties will ONLY be able to deliver parcels that are deemed safe drop able.

Also is if your letterboxes are not big enough to safely hold the parcel the postie won't be able to deliver your parcel. Please let your neighbours know.
