Critical update on the forest - Stage 13 Mirador developmentHi Neighbours and community, (Sunday December 01, 2024)It’s been a long time between updates - mostly because there’s been very little movement that we’ve been aware of with regard to the Mirador Stage 13 development, approved back in 1989.

That is until we became aware that the developer RCL Merimbula has referred it to the federal Environment minister. The DA is now open for public comment on the EPBC Act website.

We have until Friday 7 December to make comments to this DA, only 8 days remaining, and I urge you all to do so. Please also share this email with your contacts and urge them to do so as well. Note, the website says December 9th to make a comment, however it also states “6 days remaining”.

We assume this is “6 business days”, but to be on the safe side we’re acting as if public comments may close next Friday December 7th.
