Ho ho ho! The festive season is here, and Santa is ready to answer your calls! 🎅📞

This weekend (13-14 December), for every free call made to Santa from a Telstra payphone, Telstra will donate $1 to Kids Helpline – helping ensure we can continue to answer the calls of young people across Australia.

Kids big and small can call Santa for free from over 14,000 payphones nationwide by dialling ( #46 46 46).

Despite years of chronic underfunding, frontline domestic and family violence services in regional areas show unwavering courage and commitment. Every day, specialist workers drive hundreds of kilometres to reach women in crisis, stretch very limited funding across vast areas, and provide complex support that would be delivered by several different specialist services in a major city. Workers often fundraise in their own time to fill funding gaps and meet the basic needs of their clients.

They do this because they care about their community, and they know the need is urgent. The rates of domestic and family violence are up to six times higher in regional areas than metro Sydney – this is not new information, it’s been this way for decades and the divide is only getting wider.

Hi Everyone,

We are excited to announce that the Riverina Murray Regional Alliance is hosting a Youth Gathering in 2026!!

The aim of our Youth Gathering is to bring our Aboriginal Youth from across the Riverina together to celebrate, learn, and express their cultural identity and pride in who they are through dance.

The day will include traditional performances, creative workshops where the youth design their own dance outfits, and a closing corroboree showcase.

Event Details:

Date: Saturday, 21 February 2026
Time: 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: Multi-Purpose Stadium - Copland St, Wagga Wagga NSW 2650.

This will be a registration-only event.

Registrations close on the 31st Jan 2026. We have also included a QR code for those who might be interested in volunteering on the day as well.
