Tumut Town Band

Tumut Town Band Tumut Town Band is proud to be one of the oldest continuously run bands in Australia, with its origin dating back as far as the late 1870s.

In 2011, The Town Band welcomed the Tumut & District Concert Band under its banner. Together, they serve the community, whether individually or combined, at many local and regional events such as Australia Day, Tumut's Festival of the Falling Leaf and the Outback Band Spectacular in Leeton just to name a few. In 2015, The Tumut Town Band were presented with the Australia Day Service to the Communi

ty Award. Currently, The Concert Band is lead by Deb Wild and the Brass Band is lead by David Piper whose conducting career spans over 50 yrs with the band! We are always on the look out for new players and provide tuition to new players.

TUMUT RIVER JAZZ BAND are putting on a special gig right before the Street Parade on Sat 2 May at Falling Leaf Festival.

Catch them down in the Worklocker Tumut carpark at midday.

Grab a bite to eat, wander down the street, enjoy the tunes and secure a top spot to watch the Street Parade.
