WEEK 1 of junior boxing is DONE! 💪🏼

What a great turnout. We had just under 30 kids register and join us for the first week of the program.

If you missed us this week, it isn’t too late to register and join us for the remaining of the term.

Tumbarumba Sports Academy was proud to host the FREE Accidental Counsellor Training yesterday, delivered by Grand Pacific Health.

It was a fantastic session with a great group and an excellent facilitator who delivered practical, engaging, community ready and easy to understand content that people can confidently use in everyday situations.

This training is ideal for anyone who finds people naturally gravitate to them as a sounding board or listening ear. Whether you’re involved in sport, community groups, workplaces, or simply supporting friends and family, this course provides valuable skills to help navigate those conversations.

You don’t need to work in mental health to benefit, it’s designed for everyday people supporting their communities.

We’ll be working with Grand Pacific Health to run the programme again and would highly encourage anyone interested to get involved when the dates are published.

📣 Free Accidental Counsellor Workshop Coming to Tumbarumba

Tumbarumba Sports Academy is pleased to share a fantastic opportunity for our local community, delivered by Grand Pacific Health.

Grand Pacific Health is a not for profit organisation that delivers mental health and wellbeing services across regional NSW and the ACT. Their work focuses on supporting individuals, families, and communities to build resilience, improve wellbeing, and access the right support when it’s needed most.

This Accidental Counsellor workshop is designed to give participants practical skills to support someone who may be experiencing distress, while also understanding your own boundaries and when to refer on for additional help.

This is a great opportunity for:
• Coaches and volunteers
• Parents and carers
• Teachers and community leaders
• Anyone supporting people in their day to day life
