Indoor Soccer Tumbarumba Indoor Soccer Tumbarumba is a community group for school aged children 5-16yrs in the Tumbarumba & surrounding communities.

This is a not for profit organisation, Founded in 2008 & run by volunteers in our community. Dear Parents and Carers,

*PLEASE NOTE WE WOULD LIKE TO RUN INDOOR SOCCER IN 2016 - PLEASE MESSAGE US IF YOU ARE INTERESTED*

The Committee would like to welcome you to the 2013 season of indoor soccer. This year a few things have changed, mainly most of the committee members (whom welcome as many general

members as possible,) and more obviously the venue. Although every year we request that parents supervise their children, this year it is going to be twice as important as we no longer have the fenced in area outside of the hall. Every week a committee member will arrive shortly before 4pm and be present until the hall closes at 6pm. Their role will be administrative only, checking off names, handing out bibs and supporting the umpires etc. They will not be able to monitor children who are not participating in the game taking place. The umpires would also greatly appreciate the support of as many parents as possible and if you are able to umpire occasionally that would be great! The only item that children require to participate in indoor soccer is secure, non slip shoes appropriate for sport. This means no thongs, steel capped boots or other footwear which may cause injury to the child or other children during the game. We still have the gear (ball/bibs/bank account via the Council)
Old committee include RikkiLee Rial, Nikki Harvey, Lottie Tuilau, Kathy Matthew - have a chat to them.

It's really easy to organise and run, kids love it, a cheap family alternative to sport

I've had great interest from families interested in playing indoor soccer this year.
If you know of a soccer enthusiasts- up to date with all rules and have some spare time they would like to share with our community Please let me know.
Needing a coach before any further decisions can be made.
If you would be interested or know of someone please let me know asap.
Indoor soccer generally runs for 2 school terms once a wk.
In the past its been from 4pm on a wednesday with children split into age appropriate groups. Registration fee was $20.
All participant's recieve a Playing trophy at end of season Presentation.
With lots of new faces around, feel free to invite friends and share our page with the community.

FEEDBACK PLEASE:
We had a break over the cold wet winter when we normally do indoor soccer ~ what I would like to try and look into is a SPRING INTO SOCCER for a couple of months, now that the days are a bit longer and warmer, and some kids have finished some winter sports ~
WHO would like to look at Indoor Soccer April-July or Sept/Oct/Nov (parts there of) ? We would need some parent helpers of course, and a committee

2015 ARE YOU READY FOR THE NEXT SOCCER SEASON?
We will be organising a meeting towards the end of Term 1, and will be checking with the Council and other organisations that use Hall, as to what dates we will be looking at.
We will be needing committee members to keep indoor soccer running ~ or there wont be any ~ so please consider this.
Fees at this stage will remain the same as last year :)
