🐢🐦 Turtles, terns and teamwork – volunteers wanted! 💙🌴

Want to help protect some of the Cassowary Coast’s most incredible locals?

Cassowary Coast Regional Council is looking for volunteers to help monitor and protect nesting sea turtles and vulnerable shorebirds across our beautiful coastline.

You’ll help observe nesting activity, record information and contribute to important conservation work that helps protect our beaches and wildlife for the future 🌊

No experience needed - training and resources are provided, including how to safely recognise and record turtle and shorebird activity without disturbing wildlife.

It’s a fantastic opportunity to:
