Every Wednesday during the month of October you will see the TSC team in our 'Start by Believing' shirts, these shirts are so we can start the conversation around Sexual Violence (SV) Awareness Month.

During this month we hope to:
Raise community awareness about sexual violence
Promote the support options available to people affected by sexual assault and sexual abuse
Uphold a clear message that sexual violence will not be tolerated in our communities.
There is a role for everyone to make our communities safer and reduce the risk and incidence of sexual violence.

If you have recently experienced sexual violence, we encourage you to ensure you are in a safe place and seek medical attention (whether at hospital or a doctor's clinic). It is important to always remember that it is never your fault and that you have the right to feel safe. The QSAN services will be able to support you.

Tully Support Centre invites women and girls to join us for a FREE Women’s Independence & Empowerment Workshop this October, proudly delivered as part of the Empowering Queensland Women Grants Program.

Join award-winning speaker Bernice Hookey from MZB Empowerment – Bernice Hookey Consulting for sessions focused on personal growth, safety, boundaries, and decision-making. Enjoy light refreshments and a safe, supportive space to thrive.
